Hi, I'm Brittany Stanton and I am the owner and lead planner at Blue Bon. After working planning events on college campuses for 10+ years, I realized how much I truly love weddings, and so began, Blue Bon Events.
The name Blue Bon was created in honor of the wedding tradition Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, and Something Blue, just a little bit out of order - Blue Borrowed Old New. Coincidentally enough, this is also the nickname of a beautiful blue flower down south that looks mildly similar to my favorite flower, lilacs, which became the inspiration for our hand drawn logo.

We know that our personality and style are not everyone's cup of tea, and that's okay! In order for us to make your day as perfect as possible, it's important that we're on the same page. In our experience, you'll probably be a good fit if you align with our four core values
When you hire us, it’s because you want a wedding day that runs seamlessly. That only happens when you can fully let go and allow us to handle the details. We need your trust to do what we do best, so you can be present, celebrate, and soak in every moment.
We love love and believe that every love story deserves to be honored with respect, creativity, and joy. Our team values open-mindedness and inclusivity, and we thrive when working with couples who share these values. We’re honored to celebrate your story—exactly as you are, and exactly how you dream it.
Our favorite way to help you through wedding stressors is definitely humor. We use sarcasm to stay optimistic and laugh through any challenges that may come up. It's important that you can laugh with us and not take yourself too seriously. Trust that even with a few hurdles, we'll figure it out and everything will be great!
Traditions are great, but forced traditions should not be a part of your big day. We love working with couples who are confident and ready to stand up for themselves and the weird and quirky details that they want to include in their wedding day, regardless of what others think.
