Ten of my favorite things from the Regotti Wedding:
Ten: The theme – even scrooge would have melted at the subtle Christmas details that were sprinkled throughout each part of their day. It was magical.
Nine: The beautiful cake and the amazing stand that it sat on. The decor was very classy, and the blinged out cake stand made the cake pop even more than it already did with the intricate design, and precious pine cone cake toppers.
Eight: Casey’s best friend and one of two Matrons of Honor, Courtney, bringing her out water periodically through the bridal dance. Best friend goals!
Seven: The upbeat and fun energy of all of the vendors. Aside from the fact that the Venue Coordinator and I were besties by the end of the night, almost all of the vendors were an absolute dream to work with, and true experts in their fields. I am lucky to have crossed paths with such talented individuals!
Six: The bar sign. Casey commissioned me to create a bar sign including drawings of her cats and what they would recommend. When drawing them, I sent Casey two options for Miss Ellie, saying that the first one looked a bit too grumpy for my liking. Casey replied that Ellie is very grumpy, and we needed to use that one.
Five: Casey’s parents were precious, but the slow dancing at the rehearsal was just beautiful. It showed the love that they have for each other, the love that was taught to Casey, and it so clearly mirrored the love the Casey and Nate share.
Four: The pizza at the after party – my goodness! I may or may not drive to Blairsville, have my husband go golfing, and just sit in the restaurant chowing down. That pizza was brought straight from the heavens.
Three: My first ever Western PA bridal dance experience – the 20+ minutes of polka, and guests lining up around the ball room to dance with the bride.
Two: Casey and Nate’s first look – SWOON. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
One: The grand, double door opening, entrance of Casey at the perfect time during A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman. All the emotions!
Honorable Mention: An A+ chocolate fountain that was open all night, and allowed for delicious snacks on the move. I don’t think I passed it once without stopping. A lovely addition to an otherwise already perfect night.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Nate and Casey Regotti!! I am honored that you chose me to handle the details of your big day, and am so lucky to have clients like you who make my job so easy and fun. Here’s to a lifetime of love, friends!
