Ten of my favorite things from the Nuzzi Wedding:

Ten: The hidden fans in the chandeliers on the outdoor patio – it was an extremely hot day running all over the property to get everything ready, so I thoroughly enjoyed standing under the fans multiple times for quick 30 second breaks! A great addition to the beautiful cocktail hour space.

Nine: The Vendor team – we spent the night dancing away, laughing, and sneaking into the photobooth every chance we got. Working with incredible colleagues makes my job so much easier and makes me forget that I’m working at all. We had a blast!

Eight: The Music Selection – was I at a wedding or was I at warped tour again? A++++

Seven: The Bud Vases – The reception venue was gorgeous without any decor, but adding 144 bud vases on the center tables, the rafters, and the window sills really put it over the top. So simple, yet phenomenal.

Six: The Flip Flops – I have seen this included at weddings before, but I’ve never seen it appreciated as much as here. This family was ready to dance, and the heels were coming off before cocktail hour was over. #priorities

Five: The Brides Outfit Change – outfit number one was beautiful, but outfit number two was very Danielle. The confidence she had wearing this gorgeous dress was evident, and the photo ops she took advantage of to showcase it were STUNNING.

Four: The His/Hers Candy Favors – Another simple gesture that went a long way. The sour cherry dots and reeses cups were both a fun personal touch to the wedding day, and a great treat for my drive home on Sunday! I also thoroughly enjoyed finding every possible way to share them with the guests, through standing by the shuttle back to the hotel, and personally handing them out to everyone at the after party – it was a great way to interact with and get to know everyone.

Three: The Cake Topper – the “till death” on the top of the cake was direct, understates, and a perfect representation of their personalities and love for one another.

Two: The Seating Chart – The groom hand placed each of the letters on the felt letter boards which made this unique piece both innovative, and a great personal touch!!

One: They both said “you are home” in their vows – as if writing their own vows wasn’t sweet enough, the fact that they both said these same words so genuinely to each other just had me melting. Between this and the groom whispering “I love you so much” during the kiss, there was no doubt in my mind that these two are perfect for each other. Their love is truly unmatched.

Honorable Mention: The fact that I got sunburnt at a wedding in Pennsylvania in September. A ridiculously beautiful 80+ degree day was uncharacteristic, but perfect for their big day.

Being done with this wedding is so extremely bittersweet, as I truly looked forward to meeting with them each week. It’s hard to believe that we met in person for the first time on Friday, as I feel like I’ve known them forever. I feel so honored to have not only gotten to work with them, but been a witness to their love story, and the most perfect day celebrating it. Congratulations, Jake & Danielle!
